Some wedding vows include a sand or hand ceremony. I came across this alternative and found it quite unique. This works if you have few guests or want to prolong the ceremony a bit longer.
The wedding rings are tied onto a ribbon or string of your choice of colour.
The guests pass the rings amongst themselves and say a blessing of their own either out loud or silently.
Some wonderful things can be said by your closest friends and relatives.
The rings are then returned to the officiant for a final blessing prior to them being exchanged.
What a great alternative and unique idea.
