Although satin wraps can look nice at a venue, we choose not to use them. The cleaning alone is a real effort, plus the fact that once put on the chairs, they tend to look wrinkled, and these wrinkles do NOT fall out.
Instead we have chosen to use crushed taffeta wraps for our chair covers in many colours. They are hung on hangers and are not folded after cleaning like some decorators do. They are cleaned after each and every use and ready for the next occasion.
Crushed taffeta chair covers look rich, and each bow attached looks crisp and fresh when tied.
Depending on the actual chair cover and chair, satin wraps are prone to sliding off the chair and all that money spent on covers is all for nothing and will look terrible in candid shots.
The crushed taffeta covers come with a sewn in seat pocket to help adhere to the chair itself and no sliding off occurs.
