In all the years I’ve been involved in weddings this is without a doubt the most thoughtful thankyou I have ever received. It was a handwritten letter, which makes it even more special. Below is what the bride wrote, 2 weeks prior to her wedding.
Dear Judi;
What do I say to you that I haven’t said before . Words can’t express how much I appreciate all that you have done for me. I am still thinking of a way to show my gratitude.
I was scrolling through our past correspondence today and really saw how much you went out of your way to get everything done for me and kept my spirits up when things weren’t looking so great. Thankyou for that.
They say that people come into your life as parts of the essentials of a tree.
The branches are people who leave you when things get bad. The people like leaves only come around when they need you and the roots keep you grounded and help when you when times get hard. You are a root !! Thankyou for being mine.
I hope that give you a taste of how much you have meant to me over the past 10 months.
